Michael Welch

Michael WelchMichael Welch, Chief Financial Officer and Partner at Stephan Pyles Concepts (Stephan Pyles and Samar by Stephan Pyles) is responsible for directing all business aspects of the company in addition to serving as the Director of Human Resources.

Prior to joining Stephan Pyles Concepts, Welch served as Managing Director for global professional services firm Resources Global Professionals (RGP). In this role, Welch was responsible for establishing and managing the Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, and San Antonio offices. RGP, originating as a subsidiary of Deloitte became an independent and publicly traded company in 2000. Prior to joining RGP, Welch served in an executive role as Vice President/Executive Recruiter at Catterton, an executive recruiting firm that specializes in accounting, finance, and information technology positions.

During Welch’s 11 year tenure at Landmark Land Companies in New Orleans and Palm Springs, he held a variety of roles, most recently serving as their Chief Operating Officer. Landmark Land, a real estate development company that grew to more than $2.5 billion in assets in multiple states maintained more than 4,500 employees. The company operated golf and tennis resorts and hotels (with multiple food and beverage operations), commercial and residential real estate, a life insurance company, a mortgage company, and a savings and loan.

Welch has also served as Partner of CTI, LTD, a Dallas-based software and consulting firm specializing in systems development and implementation projects. Welch began his career in the Dallas office of Deloitte as an Auditor. Welch is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
